Bob McCallister and his wife, Sarah, have been married for 12 years and are proud parents of their 10 year old son, Tristan.  They live in Rancho Murieta and are active members of their community. 

Bob is a Master of Oriental Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Certified in Medical Qigong.  He is an associate Professor at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley.  His clinical experience and study of Classical Chinese Medicine brings a deeper understanding and direct application of the principles and benefits of regular acupuncture treatment and sustained Qigong practice.  He is privileged to be a student of Dr. Hua Ling Xu, Dr. Zhi Bin Zhang, Dr. John Yeh, and Dr. Glen Oberman.  He was certified to teach Medical Qigong by his Qigong Master, Dr. Suzanne Friedman author of “Medical Qigong Exercise Prescriptions”  and “Yijing Daoist Medical Qigong”.

 Who We Are

 It is said in Chinese philosophy that when a person is preparing to make a life changing choice it is as if a dragon were rising.  Buddhist doctrine speaks of the idea of enlightenment being the water wherein the Dragon Dwells or the Mountain whereon the Tiger Roams.  The name of the clinic is taken from the idea that the patient coming to eastern medicine is making a decision to actively participate in their physical, mental and spiritual health.  It is my great priviledge to participate in this process and present the wisdom of my teachers for the benefit of my patients.
